Joplin은 유닉스-계열 (macOS와 Linux 포함) 및 Microsoft Windows 운영 시스템과 마찬가지로 iOS, Android 및 Linux/Windows 터미널에 대해 JavaScript로 작성된 자유와 오픈-소스 데스크탑 및 모바일 메모-작성과 할-일 목록 응용 프로그램입니다.[1] 데스크탑 응용 프로그램은 Electron을 사용하여 만들어졌고, 반면에 모바일 앱은 React Native를 사용합니다.
Introduction
간단히 메모를 하기 위해, 위키에 익숙해서 그런지 Zim (software)를 사용해 왔습니다. 단지, 그놈 데스크탑에서 인터페이스가 어울려 보이지 않아서, 어울릴 만한 다른 위키 응용 프로그램을 찾아 보았지만, 마땅한 것을 찾기 힘듭니다.
여러 프로그램와 서비스 중에서 외부에 보관하지 않는 것이 필요하고, 그 중 하나가 Joplin입니다.
이 프로그램은 훌륭한 기능을 갖추고 있지만, 단지 상당한 크기의 바이너리 이미지를 갖는 것이 흠입니다.
Installation
데비안 저장소에 패키지가 존재하지 않지만, 개발자가 제공하는 deb 바이너리를 얻을 수 있습니다.
Debian packaging
개발자가 제공하는 deb 패키지는 상당한 용량을 갖고 있습니다.
한편, Obsidian (software)에서는 많은 용량 중에 Electron (software framework) 관련 용량이 대부분이었고, 실제로는 아주 작은 부분만을 차이했습니다.
그러나, 이 프로그램은 app.asar 파일이 530MB 정도되기 때문에, 크게 차이가 나지 않습니다.

또는 Obsidian (software)에서 사용한 방식으로 만들 수 있습니다.
History
Joplin은 래그타임 작곡가이자 피아니스트, 스콧 조플린의 이름을 따서 지었습니다.[2]
로랑 코직은 2016년에 Joplin 작업을 시작했고,[3] 2017년 7월 28일에 첫 번째 안드로이드 버전을 출시했습니다.
첫 번째 공개 데스크탑 응용 프로그램 출시는 2017년 11월 20일 버전 0.10.19였습니다.[4][5][6]
Chrome에 대해 Web Clipper가 2017년 12월에 출시되었고,[7] Firefox 확장이 2018년 5월에 출시되었습니다.
새로운 Joplin 클라우드 서비스가 2021년에 on-premises Joplin Server 응용 프로그램과 함께 도입되었습니다.[8] 두 제품 모두 장치 사이에 메모, 할-일, 노트북 및 메모 데이터를 동기화하기 위해 사용될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 다른 Joplin 사용자와 메모 또는 노트북을 공유하거나 심지어 웹에 컨텐츠를 게시하기 위해 사용될 수 있습니다.
